Long Term Residential Housing

Little Tree Project is in the process of starting construction of its Long Term Residential Housing option for survivors of human trafficking in its aftercare program. In this option of safe residency for survivors, they will have full time access to all of Little Tree Project’s aftercare services, case management, mentorship, career training, and Little Tree Project’s community of family and support.

  • Little Tree Project’s program is highly individualized to each resident’s needs, but will be an expected 18-24 month program.

  • This housing will be available to female survivors ages 18+.

  • Our housing plans allow for 12 residents maximum at a time along with 1 housing coordinator.

In this program, residents will be empowered to:

  • Recover

  • Build community

  • Have assistance in assessing, creating, and achieving goals

  • Improve physical, mental, and spiritual health and skills to continue improving

  • Equip and empower with skills to become and sustain independence

  • Achieve and maintain sobriety

  • Education and training to enhance employment opportunities and independence

  • Safe and reliable housing

  • Employment at a living wage

 
 
 

Needs:

Little Tree Project has housing plans and confirmed initial funding to begin building, but the organization is still in the search to make the project begin!

  • Un-zoned property in Baldwin County, AL

    • equal to or greater than 5 acres

    • Non-flood zone

    • The organization has been searching the entire county, but trying to stay central to have best access to service partners

  • Discount/donated construction materials: concrete, lumber, metal, etc.

  • Discount/donated contracting services

  • Furniture

  • Appliances

  • Funding
